In autumn, fresh dark plums are tempting. They can be used in many different ways. This simple plum cake recipe will also inspire baking beginners. It's quickly prepared sponge dough combined plum halves. It can be eaten instantly for coffee, but it can also be frozen in stock.

Preparing the plums
Halve the plums and get rid of the kernel.
Stirring butter and sugar
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Beat the butter, the sugar and the vanilla sugar. Add the eggs gradually und keep stirring.
Spreading it on the tray
Mix the flour with salt and baking powder. Blend in the milk and the flour to the dough using a whisk. Spread the dough evenly on the baking tray using a dough spatula.
Adding plums
Place the prepared plum halves evenly on the dough. Make sure that the skin faces downside, so the fruit juice is able to evaporate. Because of that, the cake won't turn our muddy. Let it bake on a medium rail for about 30 minutes. Run the cooking test.
If there is still dough at the fork after piercing, the cake it is not yet done.
Sprinkling with icing sugar
Cut the cake into slices. Serve it sprinkle it with dust sugar. This cake can also be frozen very well.
