The baking of this type of pie requires some patience; the oven must not be too hot, or otherwise it will not cook evenly.

Preparing the dough
Create a shortcrust dough with butter, sugar, flour and flavouring ingredients. Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle a worktop with some flour. Roll out the dough until it's five millimeters thick. Fold it with the pie pallet so that the dough won't stick to the surface. Place it with the help of a rolling pin into the prepared cake pan.
Letting bake
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Prick the pastry dough base with a fork so that bubbles won't form during baking. Bake the dough for eight minutes.
Preparing the curd
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Mix the curd with the sugar, vanilla sugar and the butter and gradually add the egg yolks. Finally, stir in the custard powder.
Beating the egg-whites
Beat the egg whites until they are firm and carefully add them to the curd-mixture using a whisk.
Spreading the berries
Distribute the berry mixture on the baked shortcrust pastry. Spread the curd mass over the berries with the dough card.

Sprinkle the almond flakes on top and let it bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 45 minutes.
