Preparing the pears
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Wash the pears, peel them using a peeler. Cut them into six pieces, remove the core housing. Use a plate when cutting fruit.

Setting up the dough
Slowly melt the chocolate in a hand warm water bath. Beat the butter mixed with the sugar and the vanilla sugar and gradually work in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt. Blend in the chocolate using a whisk and also add the flour.
Spreading the dough
Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Spread the dough evenly using a dough scraper. Cover it with pear pieces. Make sure that inside of the fruits is facing upside.
