Gröstl are typical dishes of Austrian and Bavarian cuisine. The name is derived from the word roast For this dish potato slices are fried together with onions and garlic in the pan, then cut leftovers of roast pork are added. This dish is served garnished with a fried egg. It is ready to serve in less than 30 minutes and tastes particularly good with salad.
