Chocolate cake with pears

Chocolate cake has the reputation of becoming slightly dry. But because of the pears added to he dough, this problem won't occur any longer. These fruits give this cake it's very juiciness. The almond flakes provide the crunch. This cake is prepared in a very easy way. Whether for a coffee snack or at a cake buffet, dessert or at a party, this cake will taste everybody.

Preparing the pears
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Wash the pears, peel them using a peeler. Cut them into six pieces, remove the core housing. Use a plate when cutting fruit.
Why should a plate be used for cutting fruit? This prevents it from taking on the taste of another dish.
Setting up the dough
Slowly melt the chocolate in a hand warm water bath. Beat the butter mixed with the sugar and the vanilla sugar and gradually work in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt. Blend in the chocolate using a whisk and also add the flour.
Spreading the dough
Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Spread the dough evenly using a dough scraper. Cover it with pear pieces. Make sure that inside of the fruits is facing upside.
Letting it bake
Let it bake on the medium rail for 45 minutes. Use a fork to implement the cooking test. If no dough sticks to it, the cake is ready. Mix the water with the sugar and the piejelly and let cook in a pot until it is clear. Use this mixture to sprinkle the cake and garnish it almond flakes.

Before serving, cut the cake into twelve pieces.
