Potato-pumpkin soup

An autumnal soup with potato and pumpkin pieces. It is very substantial, very easily prepared beforehand and can be enjoyed for lunch, for supper or at a party. A very inexpensive dish which is quickly prepared.

Preparing the ingredients
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Cut the sausage into slices. If it is too thick, cut it also into cubes. Peel both garlic and onion and chop them finely.
Seasoning with pepper spice poweder
Heat the fat in a pan and sauté the bacon cubes, the sausage, the onion, the garlic and the potato cubes. Stir constantly. Add the red pepper and the sieved tomato, stir and add soup or water. Season the mixture, let it boil, then reduce the temperature and let it simmer.
Adding the pumpkin pieces
When the potatoes are done, add the pumpkin pieces to the soup and let it allow it to simmer briefly. They should remain crispy and must not be cooked.
