These strawberry cake slices taste wonderful, look very good and are easily prepared.

Separating the eggs
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lay out the baking sheet with baking paper. Weigh the ingredients and separate the eggs.
The egg white must not contain any yolk, otherwise you can not beat it to snow.
Beating the egg whites
Beat the egg whites with three tablespoons of water until it's a snowy mixture.
Adding sugar
Add the sugar to the egg yolk.

Adding the flour
Alternately fold in the flour and the egg whites using a whisk.

Adding the strawberries
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. Stir the strawberry jam until it's smooth, wash the strawberries, remove the stems and cut them into halves. Cut the cake into three equal strips. Brush the strips with jam and put them together, also top them with jam. Place the baking frame around the slices and top them with the prepared strawberries.
Preparing the jelly
Stir the cake jelly in about ¼ liter of water with three tablespoons of sugar and cook it gently. Turn down the heat and let it simmer for a minute, until the jelly becomes quite clear.
Covering the pie
Allow the jelly to cool with constant stirring and then, spread it over the strawberries using a spoon.
Sliced strawberry cake
Cut the strawberry slices into ten pieces and chill them until they are served.
