Semolina dumplings can't be missed in the traditional Austian kitchen.

Stir the margarine foamly
Stir the margarine foamly. Season with salt and add a nutmeg.
Stir the Egg/Semolina
Stir the egg and add the semolina gently. Let this mixture rest for about ten minutes. Advice: The semolina binds liquids.
Take a bit of the semolina
Take a coffee spoon and gouge out a bit of the semolina-mixture.
Form the dumplings
Use a second small spoon to form the dumplings.
Add to boiling water/soup
Put the dumplings carefully into boiling water. If you have prepared a soup, you can also directly add them to it.
Wait 10 Minutes
Reduce temperature and let the semolina dumplings steep in the soup for about 10 minutes.
