Pear-Strudel

Strudel can also be filled with pears. Prepared Strudel dough makes this recipe somewhat less ponderous and also baking beginners will succeed with this dessert classic recipe.

Preparing the filling
Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the biscuit crumbs. Wash the pears, peel and halve them, remove the core casing and cut them into pieces. Mix the pears with the biscuit crumbs, the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the cinnamon.
Placing dough sheets
Preheat the oven to 180 °. Place the Strudel dough sheets in two layers on a Strudel cloth. Paint each layer carefully with the molten butter to keep them tender during baking.
Spreading the filling
Distribute the prepared filling on one third of the dough. Roll it in firmly using a Strudel cloth.
Letting it bake
Bake the Pear-Strudel on the middle rail in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Once during the baking process, apply molten butter once. Remove the finished Strudel from the oven and divide it into eight pieces.
Pear-Strudel
Sprinkle the Strudel with icing sugar. This juicy Pear-Strudel can be served immediately, but it ican be frozen very easily also.
